It like we went a long time without any good horror stuff on TV, then along came great shows like Masters of Horror, Dexter, The Walking Dead and Supernatural plus lots of other fun stuff... from Kingdom Hospital to True Blood. Now I'm seeing a whole lot of really interesting tidbits from FX's upcoming "American Horror Story", and I really like the looks of it. It seems like it's going to be high quality and pretty creepy. Check out this new poster at the right and a little 30 second promo trailer at the end of this post. Here's their Facebook page as well with lots of goodies posted regularly.The show revolves around The Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish.
The fantastic cast features Dylan McDermott (The Practice) as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights) as Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as the Harmons’ teenage daughter; Jessica Lange (Tootsie, Cape Fear, Big Fish) in her first-ever regular series TV role as the Harmons’ neighbor; Evan Peters (One Tree Hill) plays one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare (The Good Wife) as “Larry Harvey.”
"American Horror Story" is set to premiere in time for Halloween on October 5th on FX and will run Wednesdays at 10 PM ET/PT.
